A high-pass filter (HPF) is an electronic filter that passes signals with a frequency higher than a certain cutoff frequency and attenuates signals with frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency. It is sometimes called a low-cut filter or bass-cut filter in the context of audio engineering. High-pass filters have many uses, such as blocking DC from circuitry sensitive to non-zero average voltages or radiofrequency devices.
A high-pass filter is being used by DJs at FM BELOWGROUND to bring you the best possible sound system and experience.

Tom and Jerry is an American animated series that originated in the 1940s comprising multiple short films. It follows the story and rivalry between a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry where Tom’s never-ending quest to catch Jerry comes to a failure each time after constantly being outsmarted at every corner of his pursuit. It plays on the real-life idea of cats and mouses being natural enemies. The animated story received seven academy awards after being nominated for thirteen and is being adapted into a live animated slapstick comedy in 2021. Tom Andrews is one of the partners of BELOWGROUND. Fun fact, Jerry Wong is one of the sound technicians. Image source: Go Antiques/Tales Resold

A wheel is a circular object used to carry or move an object from point A to B. It has been used for thousands of years. It has helped our ancestors to travel and create some of the most historical monuments we see today. In modern times, wheels are usually padded with a rubber substance creating a tire which we see on cars, planes, and wheelchairs. Wheels have also helped bring certain sports to life like skateboarding and rollerblading. Due to wheels not being able to go upstairs things like elevators, ramps and slopes are relied on by wheels to get up and down a certain obstacle. There will be a ramp present which will be situated at the Awake store. The ramp is a nod to skate culture which was one of the driving forces in Hong Kong’s introduction to street fashion. A lot of details were put into place for BELOWGROUND. From the sound system, lighting, and decorations all of these things needed specialized skills to help bring the area alive. A rotation is a circular movement of an object around a center (or point) of rotation. The geometric plane along which the rotation occurs is called the rotation plane, and the imaginary line extending from the center and perpendicular to the rotation plane is called the rotation axis. A three-dimensional object can always be rotated about an infinite number of rotation axes. Many different brands move in and out of BELOWGROUND almost like a rotation of rosters, keeping the energy and experience moving for those who visit. Image Source: Sylverarts
Stationary is an adjective that means something is not moving, not intended to be moved, or not to be changed. It is easily mistaken for the word ‘Stationery’ which is a noun representing things such as erasers and pencils and other equipment used for writing letters, academic literature, and different forms of art like drawing and painting. The idea of BELOWGROUND is based on a stationary concept. It is an everlasting venue for fashion and culture lovers to come together and set their eyes on a new piece of clothing or creative product each time they visit. Image source: Pen Store
